 28th February 2009
Our annual ale at Long Hanborough, after a slow response we ended up with 7 guest sides which filled the hall nicely. We all performed 3 dances before breaking for food after which there were song spots / party pieces. Masons Apron finished the evening with Plymouth Reel after which our guests left for home. A lovely evening, which everyone seemed to enjoy.

22nd February 2009
Our first "dance out" of 2009! We were invited to the Milestone Museum at Basingstoke to dance in their museum which is set up as street scenes from various ages in Basingstoke's history. The part we danced in was a Victorian street scene with a saw mill and shops, complete with wood block and stone street.
Basingclog were the host side and altogether including us there were 8 sides. We had 12 dancers plus musicians arrive on the day which made an interesting and pleasant day out.
